Drama terjadi di X Factor USA dengan dieliminasinya 2 kontestan dengan hasil voting terendah pada malam 15 November 2012.Pada pembacaan pertama eliminasi adalah Grup Rap Lyric145 asuhan Simon Cowell. Grup trio ini mendapatkan voting terendah. Dan mereka mendapatkan kritik dari juri L.A. Reid yang mengatakan itu bukan lagu hip hop dan terlalu simple saya benci itu.
Setelah Lyric145 dieliminasi selanjutnya Jennel Garcia asuhan dari Demi Lovato juga mendapatkan voting terendah.
Dan 2 kontestan dengan perolehan voting terbanyak adalah Tate Stevens dan Carly Rose Sonenclar.
With Lyric145 gone, the real drama came down to the next lowest polling singers as they’d have to sing for their lives. Unfortunately for judge Demi Lovato, they both came from her young adults team. Singer Paige Thomas and– somewhat shockingly– Jennel Garcia were up for elimination and performed (both poorly) to impress the judges. With all the judges but her own voting against her, pop/rock singer Jennel Garcia was given the hook.
Like last week, the rankings for the remaining singers were revealed. Britney Spears‘ teen singer Arin Ray remained low on the list while Lovato’s CeCe Frey shot up multiple spots due to her improved (but still shaky) performance this week. The top two singers, Carly Rose Sonenclar and Tate Stevens, also remained the same from the previous week.
